Embroidery Hoops

At the nursery I work at, I added sewing into our curriculum with simple activities involving cardboard and yarn. I felt strongly that the children could handle bigger projects, and so we used embroidery hoops, cut fabric, and started stitching all together. We created these pieces over many sewing sessions, and the children worked together to create colorful decorations for our nursery.
